About Central Indiana Mensa

Mensa is an international society in which the sole requirement for qualification for membership is a score at or above the 98th percentile on any of a number of standard IQ tests. Mensa is a not-for-profit organization whose main purpose is to serve as a means of communication and assembly for its members. Qualifications for membership may be determined by tests administered by Mensa, or by submission of properly certified prior evidence of qualification.

We administer tests the 2nd Saturday of every other month.
See the calendar page for times/places.

Follow the links to our national or international body's web pages for further details, including:
HOW TO JOIN, and which tests constitute prior evidence.

We hold our main meetings in Indianapolis, but our area covers Carmel, Kokomo, Muncie, Lafayette, and Bloomington.

Central Indiana Mensa is a chapter of American Mensa, LTD. We hold monthly membership meetings, in addition to activities of special interest groups (SIGs). Our local Executive Committee (Excom) also meets once per month.

Central Indiana Mensa publishes MIND, our monthly newsletter. MIND contains articles written by local members and reprints from other chapters' newsletters.
